Coney Island Outdoor Water Park at Gateway Resort features the gigantic Sunlite Pool. The pool is 200 feet wide and 401 feet long. There are over 3 million gallons of water circulating at the pool at all times.
Sunlite pool has over an acre of shallow water – perfect for the little ones to have fun in the sun. The deep end of the pool features 6 diving boards and lanes for lap-swimming.
The pool has 4 exciting waterslides; The Twister, four chutes standing 45 feet high and over a quarter mile long, The Pipedream Plunge, ride a tube down this 45-foot high totally enclosed slide, The Cyclone, a 70-foot long spiral tub slide situated in the deep end of the pool, The In-Pool Speed Slight is a rush of thrills right in the heart of Sunlite Pool.
The park features a wide range of food and beverage selections are available at the Sunlite Pool concession stands.
The pool area also features showers and locker rooms, plus plenty of room for sun bathing. Public picnic areas located outside of the pool admission gate (alcoholic beverages, grilling and glass containers are prohibited).
Sunlite Pool is a non-smoking facility. The park features an Island Shop and will carry all the favorite fun-in-the-sun items including swimwear, swim accessories, pool inflatables, coney island apparel, toys, panama jack sun care items, panama jack sunglasses and sundries. The park features Sunlite Cabanas by Aquafina so your family and friends can reserve them for a day of relaxation in comfort knowing a special area of the pool is reserved just for you. Each Cabana includes two high back patio armchairs and a cocktail table, as well as two chaise lounges on a secluded Cabana Sun Deck. This private area of Sunlite Pool will offer many exclusive amenities for your pleasure:
An ideal location to enjoy your day with a beautiful view of Sunlite Pool and close proximity to both changing rooms and restrooms
Enjoy a delicious lunch with a voucher for one large pizza to be used on the day of your visit
Towel service: a fresh set of four towels is delivered to each Cabana. There is no longer a reason to remember your own or to pack up wet, soiled towels at the end of the day.
Thirsty? Each Cabana tent is stocked with four bottles of cold, refreshing Aquafina. Pure Water. Perfect Taste.
